Week 1 - Vastu Principles & The Science of Directions
Yes, we do provide certificates to all our participants for attending the workshop. The certificates are mailed within 15 days from the workshop conclusion date.
- Origins and philosophy of Vastu Shastra: how it works as an architectural science, not superstition
- The Vastu Purusha Mandala: the cosmic diagram that governs spatial design in every built structure
- The Panchamahabhuta: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space — their zones and how they interact
- All 8 cardinal and inter-cardinal directions: what each governs and how the sun's path shapes Vastu logic
- Site and plot assessment: evaluating shape, slope, road position, and ideal entrance direction
Week 2 - Room-by-Room Vastu Guidelines for Homes
Yes, we do provide certificates to all our participants for attending the workshop. The certificates are mailed within 15 days from the workshop conclusion date.
- Entrance, living room, and pooja room: ideal directions, door placement, and furniture positioning
- Bedroom Vastu: master, children's, and guest rooms — sleeping direction, wardrobe placement, and mirror rules
- Kitchen and bathroom: fire zone vs. water zone logic, cooking direction, fixture placement, and drainage flow
- Colour guidelines by direction: which colours suit which walls and how they affect energy and mood

Is this course only about residential Vastu?
Yes. Vastu Essentials focuses entirely on understanding Vastu principles and their application to residential spaces. Commercial, industrial, and remedial Vastu are covered in the 6-week Certification in Applied Vastu course.
Will I learn Vastu remedies in this course?
No. This course teaches you to identify what is correct and incorrect according to Vastu, but remedy techniques and correction methods are part of the 6-week course. Essentials gives you the knowledge foundation, not the correction toolkit.
Are case studies or real project work included?
This course focuses on understanding principles and guidelines rather than case study practice. You will analyse your own home as an assignment, but dedicated live case studies with faculty feedback are part of the 6-week course.
Can I upgrade to the 6-week course later if I want to go deeper?
Yes. Vastu Essentials covers the foundational content taught in Weeks 1-2 of the 6-week course. You can speak to the ASDAV counselling team about upgrading and continuing from where you left off.
Do I get a certificate after the 2-week course?
Yes. You receive a certificate of completion for Vastu Essentials from ASDAV. This acknowledges your foundational understanding of Vastu principles.
Is this the same certification as the 6-week course?
No. The 2-week course provides a completion certificate for Vastu Essentials. The 6-week course provides a Certification in Applied Vastu, which is a higher credential that includes case study practice and consultancy training.
Can I use this certificate to offer Vastu consultancy services?
The Essentials certificate demonstrates foundational knowledge, but professional consultancy requires the remedial, commercial, and case study skills covered in the 6-week course. We recommend the full certification if consultancy is your goal.
